Worldview Vs. Biblical Worldview

Worldview
Vs.
Biblical Worldview

“And those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For  the present form of this world is passing away.” (1 Corinthians 7:31)

Worldview is the way we perceive life and our own answers to our deep questions (without seeking God or the Bible for the truth.) Worldview has questions like “Where did we come from?”, “What really happens when we die?”, “Is life full of consequences, or random events?”, “Do we really have universal rules like karma and the golden rule?”

It is a way to make sense of things in our own understanding, rather than through God’s understanding. Worldview is philosophical reasoning about life. For example, an answer to “Where did we come from?” Without the Bible could result in the ‘Big Bang Theory’ that we came from particles from outer-space after a burst of energy created the galaxies and eventually we became life from atoms in our atmosphere. Then, the theory of evolution could extend a little farther that we came from monkeys, by some sort. My ex used to say he was not sure about God, because no one knows who ‘God’s Dad is’ - where God came from.

A worldview answer to “What really happens when we die?” Could be that ‘nothing happens. We just die.’ Or someone can say ‘we stay on Earth in limbo because there is no heaven or hell.’ Or someone’s worldview answer might be ‘God created the Heaven and the Earth, so we are ruled by the Planets. Venus is the star that guides our love life and the Moon controls their emotions. Saturn is the planet that revolves around Earth every 29 years and is the way we learn our lessons.’

I am using actual worldviews that I have personal knowledge of. Before becoming born again, I did not know a lot of truth that I know now. Astrology was my higher learning infatuation and hobby. I was even fascinated by numbers. One day, it brought me round and round and eventually into big trouble with God. Because I was looking for astrology answers in the Bible. So, there are many people who question life without the truth, which is only found in the Bible and through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Biblical worldview is based on the belief that there is only one way, one God, one Redeemer and Savior, one path to answer life’s questions and that is God, the Almighty, Lord, Jesus Christ, and the Word, the Bible.

Biblical worldview is looking through life with the wisdom God gives you to answer life’s questions by first finding the answers in the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. Here are some questions and answers in Biblical worldview form:

“What is God’s view on divorce?” I believe it to be that a marriage is a covenant, just as God made with us when we were given our wife/husband by God. God did not give up on us, so therefore we should not give up on our spouse. No matter what. If the husband or the wife is an unbeliever, the spouse that does believe should lead by example and follow their love of Christ. And by their choice to do so, it will change the spouse into becoming a believer as well. The reason for this is because they will see such a change that it will inspire a change of heart, thus strengthening their bondage in marriage for ever. And even more so, because they both would have the blessing of God.

“What is God’s view on horoscopes and numerology?” God views these as spiritual prostitution. Basically means if we are involved in any way in reading any kind of fortune telling, we are allowing an open door of spirits to enter our souls and minds.

“What is hell?” I believe that hell is being without God. And without God, we are blind. We are of the world. We are without knowledge, without truth. We are dead spiritually, which fully affects our mind. It could mean a difference of repentance and prayer in which we can become reborn and become ‘Christ like’ - as in the process that the Holy Spirit will step in and help us become more like Jesus, once we commit to learning how to. Then we are stepping into the eternal life in the Kingdom of God, which I believe is a level of Heaven.

A Biblical worldview is a process that needs to be fed daily, and with a diligent attitude. It starts with the fear of the Lord, a revelation from Jesus, that was founded through the Word. It can ONLY be done this way, and you will definitely know if that time has come in your life. If you have not seen a revelation experience with Jesus, and your destiny through the Word, all you have to do is want it more and more every day. Start dedicating your life to learning about who Jesus was, who Mary was, who Adam and Eve were. Read the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. And pray to God with a friendship/intimate relationship way asking Him to teach you how to live in His destiny He already has planned for you. My passion comes from my revelation I had, which involves in teaching others this process. That is my position in the Kingdom. I pray everyone that reads this finds thiers! God Bless.
